Few people know that Woody Allen was the original director of Taxi Driver. We can now exclusively reveal the work he did on the film before being replaced with Martin Scorsese.
It’s been pointed out to me that Paul Schrader’s name was misspelled in the credits. But if we can all accept an alternate reality in which Woody Allen directed Taxi Driver, surely we can accept a similar reality where Schrader spells his name with an extra E… right?
